Eastbound Oregon Expressway at Louis Street, Palo Alto, CA.
After I saw this happen I called 9-1-1 to report it and the dispatcher said they were already chasing it. Unfortunately / Fortunately the police looked like they abandoned the pursuit out of danger to the public. I could see the police in my rearview mirror all with their lights off and behind all the backed up traffic. I wonder what it was all about. Thank goodness it didn't broadside anyone crossing the street, turning left in front of it (almost), and any pedestrians or bicyclists that all take for granted that others abide by the traffic laws!!!!!! OUCH!!!!
