“Bastard's Crossing" is one of the twelve westerns filmed as part of the 12 Westerns in 12 Months project in 2020, and tells the story of Cam Talcott. He wins a trading post in a card game and finds himself alone in the wilderness. At first, he thinks life in his new location will be fairly peaceful, but that all changes when the company that used to deliver goods to his store stops delivering.

With no goods to trade and no resources to survive, Cam quickly finds himself in a difficult situation. Isolated from civilization, he must decide what to do next - fight for his survival or succumb to his circumstances. The acute shortage of food and goods gradually forces him to consider options that seemed unacceptable until recently.

This western explores the theme of survival in extreme conditions and the moral dilemmas that a man faces when he is confronted with the harsh reality of the wild west.
