GOD IN CRISIS | संकटमा भगवान

The caste-based discrimination where people from so-called low caste are regarded as untouchables still remains as dark side of the Nepalese Hindu society. However, a famous Khadga Devi temple in Bandipur has been an example of communal harmony since ages with three priests - a Brahmin (so-called higher caste), a Magar (of ethnic community) and a Dalit (low caste). When Dalit in other parts of the country are struggling to enter temples, here they have been offering Puja (worship) together with the upper castes, setting an example for others.
