ICYMI ➡️ Australia, Canada, the Philippines and the United States conducted a Maritime Cooperative Activity of the coast of Palawan and Northern Luzon, within the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone. 💪 🇦🇺🇨🇦🇵🇭🇺🇸

The activity included an #AusAirForce P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Royal Canadian Navy vessel HMCS Montréal with its embarked helicopter, Philippine Navy vessels BRP Jose Rizal and BRP Ramon Alcarez with embarked helicopters and United States Navy vessel USS Lake Erie with its embarked helicopter.

The Maritime Cooperative Activity demonstrates a shared commitment to transparently promote and strengthen regional and international cooperation in support of an open and inclusive Indo-Pacific, upholding the right to freedom of navigation and overflight in accordance with international law.
