Earlier last year Vidas and I participated at the memorial ceremony at Vilnius University St. John's church where we had to play some soft-sounding musical selections. One of the pieces that I played was Chaconne in F by German Baroque composer Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer (1656-1746) whose music is rarely heard today. It's a delightful composition to listen to and to play for manuals only which can be prepared at a moment's notice, like for this occasion. I hope you will enjoy it!
