One important aspect of SEO is to regularly check your website for broken links. Google and other search engines like websites that work correctly and broken links are not good for user interaction.
There are many reasons why you may have broken links on your website, for example, you may have deleted some web pages or linked to website pages that were active before but have now been deleted.
For website pages that are not on your website, you can simply link to alternative pages to fix the broken link issue.
If you delete a page on your website then I would suggest you set up a 301 redirect. Simply speak to your web developer and ask them to help set up a 301 direct for pages that you have deleted.
