A short clip of lightning and thunder as graupel (snow pellets) falls during a winter-type thunderstorm at Lake Forest in the Pagosa Lakes area near Pagosa Springs, CO. This storm produced pea-sized hail, then graupel, then ordinary snow, which together accumulated to an inch or a little more at this location in about 45 minutes.
