On World Oceans Day, June, 8 2020, Loggerhead Marinelife Center rescued and released a green sea turtle. The turtle arrived to the Center after being found entangled in fishing line and with a hook in its flipper. After removing the hook, LMC's rehabilitation team conducted routine tests to assess the health of the turtle. Fortunately, the turtle was deemed healthy and was released back into its ocean home.
