MOK PA TONG ( Grilled Featherback Fish In Banana Leaves )
INGREDIENTS:
16 oz Pa tong ( featherback fish paste)
1 pkg frozen/fresh banana leaves, cleaned
Tooth pick / skewer stick
1/2 cup water
3-1/2 tbsp fermented fish sauce ( Mum Brand )
2 tsp toasted chili powder
1 tsp Msg
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp galangal, minced
3-4 kiffir lime leaves, minced
2 small shallot, sliced
2 stalks green onions, chopped
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
A handful of mint leaves, chopped ( 1/4 cup )
Thai chilies
