Sky News host Andrew Bolt says Donald Trump’s impeachment trial is the "Democrats best hope” and believes they are “petrified that if Trump is still standing in November he will smash them”.
Sky News political reporter Annelise Nielson told Mr Bolt “It really is a wide-open field” ahead of the Iowa caucuses which will take place on February 3, because “there is no clear front runner when it comes to the Democrats”.
Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are two of the frontrunners in the wide open race for the Democratic nomination.
