Durga Puja! Wow 💜🥹🙏🤩 how can you explain a whole city- Kolkata- becoming a huge festival dedicated to a spiritual purpose- worship of the goddess Ma Durga! This was such a surreal and beautiful experience. From seeing all of the different pandals of the goddess to celebrating her victory over the demon to the last day all women giving her mishti sweets and well wishes to then put the goddess back into the water element in lakes, rivers, etc. Truly, every person needs to experience this celebration of the feminine in their life.
