The first episode in my series for the Great Guitar Build Off 2021 (GGBO 2021). This is my 4th guitar build and i'll predominantly be using hand tools to make a semi neck through guitar. In later episodes you will find out what that means, but for now, it's time to get crackin' on the neckblank.

I start my journey by making a neck blank out of a rough piece of purpleheart. The neck is made of 3 layers, 2 sides of purpleheart with an unknown light veneer in the middle. This episode contains poor camera angles, slowly falling camera angles and the most stressful glue-up i have ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
