The Western Hemisphere's largest flamingo nesting site is at the Río Máximo Wildlife Reserve (Refugio de Fauna Río Máximo). Located in an isolated part of Cuba's Camagüey Province, few people visit this natural wonder. Even fewer go in an Soviet-built Lada. Do be warned: if you want to take photos and video, the fees are expensive!
