The disaster has left at least 26 people dead and 165 missing.
Rescue operations are underway to search for some 37 power plant workers trapped in a tunnel.
More than 2-thousand members of the military, paramilitary groups and police have been deployed in search-and-rescue operations.
It was not immediately clear what caused the glacier to break on Sunday.
Some experts say heavy snow last week in other regions melted and caused an avalanche, while some predict it was due to climate change, and the effect on the environment by power plant projects on a river in the area.
