Senior solicitor Andrew Leaitherland graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Law in 1991 and became one of the youngest Managing Partners in the UK's legal sector aged only 35.

His firm DWF LLP receives around 2,000 applications for each legal training contract.

He returned to Lancaster University to receive an Alumni Award, where he was impressed by the Lancaster Award to improve employability skills among students.
