Susan MacKenty Brady is the Deloitte Ellen Gabriel Chair for Women and Leadership at Simmons University and the first Chief Executive Officer of The Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership. As a relationship expert, leadership wellbeing coach, author, and speaker, Susan educates leaders and executives globally on fostering self-awareness for optimal leadership. Featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, Susan co-authored The Inclusive Leader's Playbook, and authored Mastering Your Inner Critic and 7 Other High Hurdles to Advancement, and The 30-Second Guide to Coaching Your Inner Critic. A celebrated speaker, Susan has keynoted or consulted at over 500 organizations around the world.
Janet Foutty is executive chair of the board of Deloitte US. Janet has held this role since 2019 after serving as Chair and CEO of Deloitte Consulting LLP where she led the digital transformation and growth of the $10B business through significant investments in digital, artificial intelligence, and cloud. Janet is also a member of Deloitte’s Global Board of Directors and chair of the Deloitte Foundation. Janet is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); women in technology; and the need for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. She has founded women in technology groups in India and the United States and steers Deloitte’s DEI efforts. Janet’s non-profit service includes chairing the board of Bright Pink, dedicated to young women’s health; and serving as Business Vice-chair of the Council on Competitiveness.
Lynn Perry Wooten, Ph.D., a seasoned academic and an expert on organizational development and transformation, became the ninth president of Simmons University in 2020 and is the first African American to lead the university. Specializing in crisis leadership, diversity and inclusion, and positive leadership—organizational behavior that reveals and nurtures the highest level of human potential—Dr. Wooten is an innovative leader and prolific author and presenter whose research has informed her work in the classroom and as an administrator. She first joined a university faculty in 1994 and has served in administrative roles since 2008. Dr. Wooten came to Simmons from Cornell University, where she was the David J. Nolan Dean and Professor of Management and Organizations at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
