Dr. John Ducas is an Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Manitoba & Cardiologist at St. Boniface Hospital. After completing a medical degree and training at McGill University in Montreal, Dr. Ducas moved to Winnipeg in 1982 for a research fellowship in Cardiology. Dr. Ducas was the Head of Cardiology (1998-2002) and the Director of the Catheterization Laboratories (1998-2005 and 2014-2018). He is currently the Medical Director of the Manitoba Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Network.
