Hi guys! Here is the first video from my trip to Istanbul, Türkiye. (They've officially changed their international name from Turkey!) I'd wanted to visit Istanbul for quite some time because I have a soft spot for Turkish food, the tea, the hammams, the music... I could go on! In this first video, I'm going to throw my penny in the well of YouTube videos out there showing off how visiting a Turkish barbershop is a real treat for a man! You'll see how they go above and beyond the typical haircut you might be used to getting in your local barber or your overpriced beauty salon.

We'll also visit the Grand Bazaar, one of Istanbul's biggest tourist attractions, and sample some delicious desserts called Turkish Delight. Just remember to keep your guard up and look after your belongings very carefully at all times. There are pickpockets about (not the merchants - hopefully!) but the merchants are always trying to capture your attention and push you for a sale! Istanbul can be a pretty overwhelming city to visit, but many rich and wonderful experiences await you as I will show you in the next videos, too!
