I recently discovered Cinamaker, a relatively new multi-camera controller app for IOS. It is very cool and could be very helpful to someone like me, i.e., a one-person "team," who produces all videos alone. Cinamaker Director Pad runs on an iPad and Cinamaker Capture runs on smartphones and tablets used as cameras. A nice feature that Cinamaker has is that it will support not only smartphones as capture devices, but also HDMI-capable cameras and a variety of other cameras. It also allows for 8 audio inputs. All of these devices can be controlled and selected with the device running the Director Pad app. Has lots of other capabilities as well.
I'm experimenting with the free version which allows for only two inputs and applies a Cinamaker watermark on final video, but it is still very useful to add variety to a shoot. For this video, I recorded my audio to my little Olympus audio recorder. I then synced that audio with the video captured with my iPhone 7 Plus. I laid that out in LumaFusion and added clips captured with my iPad Pro for different perspective. This was an experiment as the beauty of Cinamaker is that the camera switching can be done from Director Pad and that video is saved to the controller iPad for further editing.
