Black Stork (Elanus caeruleus) Bird Call & Video | Kruger Park Waterbirds

The Black Stork (Elanus caeruleus) is a beautiful species of Stork, and one of our favourites. They are not too common in the Kruger National Park, and all of our sightings have been of solitary birds.

This video was shot at a pool on one of the non perennial rivers/streams, on the Mphongolo Loop in the early morning, coming from Sirheni Bushveld Camp. The Black Stork obliged for a few photographs after this video and then flew off.
