A new mass grave has been found in the middle of a minefield on the former confrontation line, eight kilometres (5 miles) north-west on the Bosnian Serb stronghold of Zvornik. The grave was discovered on Sunday (24/3). The site contains skeletons and the remains of clothes of at least 10 people, presumed to be Moslem refugees trying to get away from the former UN-declared "safe area" of Srebrenica, which fell to the Bosnian Serbs in July 1995. The bodies were found in two locations in the middle of a minefield, just in front of the former Bosnian Serb trenches on the confrontation line. Due to the danger from mines a proper investigation by IFOR and the local authorites has not started
yet.
