This fish is so aggressive, it will cut fish in half before eating them. Commonly known as the aba, aba aba or African knifefish – is an electric fish, and the only species in the genus Gymnarchus and the family Gymnarchidae within the order Osteoglossiformes. It is found in swamps, lakes and rivers in the Nile, Turkana, Chad, Niger, Volta, Senegal, and Gambia basins. They can reach 4 feet in length. Also known for their aggressive behavior towards tank mates and food, making it the perfect predator.
