Annie doesn’t knit or crochet, but she sure isn’t a stranger when it comes to wool!
Growing up in Bombala NSW, Annie has always been surrounded by sheep and the people who work with them. Bombala is known for its wool industry, and Annie knows this industry well.
Annie is a rouseabout and works in a team to help shearers get through hundreds of sheep a day. She overcame her nerves of working in such a fast-paced job to become an important part of her team and in doing so is connecting to her community through a generational profession.
Learning to balance work and school is a tough learning curve, but Annie is up for the task, and will do so with a smile on her face and wool in her arms.
