Kenya's hopes of acquiring biometric voter registration kits ahead of 2013 elections has run into trouble yet again. Even after President Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga intervened to enable iebc procure the kits through a government to government basis, it has emerged that the Canadian firm code inc which had been tipped to supply the kits is no longer in existence as it wound up last month in unclear circumstances.
