Dr. Johnson Bashua, Adepeju spoken on the need for African women to raise up to aspire to leadership roles. She centred her conversation on the leadership traits of the first and only female Alaafin of the Old Oyo Empire, a historical empire in South Western, Nigeria. Dr. Johnson-Bashua Adepeju is a Associate Professor of Comparative Study of Religion in the Department of Religions and Peace Studies at the Prestigious, Lagos State University, Nigeria. Dr. Adepeju has over 20 years of Lecturing and Research Experience.
Her focus of research is mainly on Comparative Study of religion with specialization on African Indigenous Religion and African Religion in Diaspora- African Derived Religions.
She has collaborated extensively with academics and scholars, both nationally and internationally. Such collaborations have resulted in quite a number of publications by reputable International Publishers.
