UPDATE found the problem... AND SOLUTION is down bellow, I recommend to read all this first.
My 8V 1.4TFSI S-Tronic DQ200 has a weird metallic/rattling noise while accelerating on Eco mode specially, bellow 2000rpm. Sometimes on Comfort mode too and when you release the throttle fast.
I have been at my Audi dealer two times + two random dealers and they just didn’t knew... but did go to Audi again and I showed them that the Wastage stab actour is loose. The electronic turbo pressure controller thing... advanced tech😂.
They won’t do anything. They said this is the options:
1.Buy new turbo with wastegate actour. Expensive.
2. Buy only the wastegate actour, but needs to be adjusted perfectly... if not it will harm the turbo... but its cheap 100€ for part & 200€ for work.
3. Fast the wastegate with a metallic part... but dangerous, it could melt or make the part to fit and also harm the turbo. Only 20€
4. Use fat that can handle high temperatures.
5. Fasten up the wastegate actour, but that could send wrong pressure to turbo & blow up. Because they need to be electronically adjusted and in the same time a bit loose.
Quite irritating do drive like that, feels like the turbo is gonna blow up one day... I often put the gearbox in manual or Sport to not get the sound out from the car.
A known problem I saw on forums. I thought first that it was the gearbox or a loose part...
But my dealer confirmed that there is no problem to drive like this, the part won’t get any loose since it has a fastened screws... hopefully🙏🏼
SOLUTION!
I ordered a cheap non OEM clip from AliExpress, didn’t fit properly but lasted 6months, the last two months it started to rattle more and morr.... but I finally found a TPI from Germany and the OEM part number after sevral months
The wastegate is more silent, no sound at all, turbo pressure is normal and fits perfect. OEM NUMBER 04E 145 220, this part is what they use on Audi workshops. Can be ordered on EBAY/AMAZON. I ordered mine trough EBAY LITUANIA
