Maxime Boudreault is a man on a mission at the 2020 Arnold Pro Strongman USA Qualifier in Santa Monica. With a 60 second time limit, athletes will pick and throw five different sandbags over a 15-foot bar in ascending weight.
The Arnold Pro Strongman USA Qualifier is part of the Arnold Pro Strongman World Series, and features many of the biggest names in international competition, including Brian Shaw, Jerry Pritchett, Jean-Francois Caron, Rob Kearney, Matjaz Belsak, and 2019 champion and reigning World’s Strongest Man, Martins Licis. Among the challenges on the docket this year are the 400 LB Farmer’s Walk, 775 LB Deadlift for Reps (w/ Rogue Power Bar), 380 LB Slater Log Clean & Press, and two events featuring Rogue’s Strongman Sandbags: the Throw Over Bar (ascending weight) and Sandbag Load (3 bags carried 30’ each).
The overall winner of the event will earn a spot at the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic, held March 6-7, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio.
