Edward Elgar originally composed Salut d'Amour, Op. 12 (also known as "Liebesgruß," or "Love's Greeting") for violin and piano. I transcribed it for pedal harp for a wedding years ago and have enjoyed playing it as part of my classical repertoire ever since.

The disks that you can see moving at 0:33 are called fourchettes, and are controlled by the pedals at the bottom of the harp. They rotate to change the length of individual strings, raising or lowering the pitch by a half step.

My original arrangement (you can watch the original YouTube video here: [ Ссылка ]) omitted the chromatic section around 1:32. This time around I decided to add it to my transcription even though it makes the whole thing a bit more difficult; I like that it is closer to the original this way!
