In 2009, Gary Seery began experiencing symptoms of severe anxiety and depression.
After visiting his GP and starting on a course of anti-depressants, he turned to running to help him find some headspace. Since then, he's run 58 marathons, including one in the North Pole and a run from Dublin to Belfast.
Gary shared his story with us as part of our Darkness Into Light series, running on The Journal ahead of the Pieta House Darkness Into Light Walk on May 6th, supported by Electric Ireland [ Ссылка ]
