This lovely client has been feeling pain with her callus on the balls of her feet but couldn't see much and didn't know what she was looking for. She complains that despite wear flats and boots she has this problem. Callus are formed due to friction and pressure and are common on the balls of the foot. When there is an excess of hard skin (callus) the build up can be painful and cause a burning/ sore sensation.
During this video the callus is debrided using a scalpel (15 blade) technique, pre and post anti- bacterial cleanse is used. The machine used at the end removes any superficial callus that is too thin for the scalpel to remove. The whole process is without the use of anaesthetics and pain free. The client finds immediate relief after the removal as you can see by her reaction at the end of the video. She was able to wear shoes and walk comfortably- in fact I even got a little dance!
