Relaxing late afternoon walk in North Amsterdam with soothing binaural 3D city sounds.
The gallows field was located in Amsterdam Noord from 1404 to 1795. Here, on stakes above the gallows pit, the corpses of criminals sentenced to death were exhibited 'to a gruesome example'. They served as a warning to residents of Amsterdam and sailors on the IJ. Now Amsterdam-North has grown into one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Amsterdam. I leisurely stroll along the Eye Museum and the banks of the river IJ. New houses are always needed, so a lot is being built in North Amsterdam, I walk through that too. Finally I take the ferry to Amsterdam Central Station. The sound is recorded on location with 3D binaural audio technology for a soothing relaxing experience.
