More Than Bees was created using sound recordings and drawings by a diverse range of people in Dublin and Laois, Ireland. It was first screened at Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise, as part of Laois County Council's Pollinator Party.

Nessa Darcy is a creative entomologist, who aims to reintroduce humans to their natural habitat through colourful encounters with diverse and underappreciated insects.
