In this talk, Bhante discusses Numerical Discourses, the Book of Sixes, nos. 47 and 48, and parallel suttas from the Book of Threes. In these suttas inquirers ask the Buddha how the Dhamma is "directly visible, immediate, inviting investigation," and the Buddha explains how this is so in direct, clear, immediately verifiable ways. The suttas are outstanding examples of the Buddha's skill in teaching.
