I think #AkiraKurosawa has the most economical and his usage of sound is the most effective. In comparison, the 2016 version seems heavy-handed with the music (even though I love the soundtrack to this film and can't even recall the soundtrack to the other two), but this scene shows a greater concern for loss of life than the 2016 version. I do love the inclusion of a person of East Asian descent (Lee Byung-hun) and how he is dressed. In the 2016 version, we seem to be more concerned with the individuals because of the closeups. #LeeByunghun
