This is a quick view of the CSX's former B&O Indiana Subdivision streching across southern Indiana and Illinois from Cincinnati, OH. to St. Louis, MO. The line from Cincinnatti to Seymour (IN) see's two trains a day from Queensgate Yard over the Indiana Sub to Louisville where they take a connector to go south on shortline Louisville & Indiana, where the trains head south on the former Pennsy track to Louisviulle, KT. Beyond Seymour the tracks go to Vincensse and ultimatly to St. Louis. This line is almost 100% the same way B&O had it. The line has remained vitually unchanged since CSX took over. Nearly all the signalling is original B&O style Colored Position Light (CPL) style signals. The St. Louis Division is ABS/EC-1 from Cincinnati to Mitchell and Washington to St. Louis. It is CTC from Mitchell to Washington. In the video I show the line single track with a double track passing sidding where it crosses the Madison Central shortline in downtown North Vernon, IN. Then I head east to the Butlerville/Nebraska area where we see an awesome bridge.
