Life in the Past was a two day event taking place in 2015 amongst the ruins of Furness Abbey and was a chance to discover Medieval life.

Visitors could meet peasants from the 12th Century on the first day then meet 13th Century Cistercian monks on the second. Find out about daily life for peasants, how they farmed and worked. Learn more about life inside the abbey for the monks who lived there. As well as take tours of the holy ruins.
