Chuck Schumer, the US Senate Majority leader and "the highest ranking Jewish elected official" in America, spoke on Thursday to declare that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has "lost his way" and has "bowed to the demands of extremists" during attacks on Gaza, and should step aside if Israel is to commit to a two-state solution.
