Presenters Amy Charkowski, Ronald Charkowski, Colleen Dunahee, Rebecca Mataya, and Shannon Reagan-Shaw provide a brief review of key information about trauma informed care. Our panel of foster parents discuss: 1) how trauma has impacted kids in their homes, 2) how they have used the concept of trauma to be more effective in responding to behaviors, and 3) how the system is--and is not--trauma informed.
