This is a new design for an air motor that I plan to use in grinding spindles and larger versions for air counterbalancing, and even larger versions for compressed air vehicles. It is a very efficient little motor, which is so far an unproven claim that I will prove soon. It is similar to a vane pump schematically, though it does not have the sliding friction of vanes. The Di Pietro motor licensed by Engineiar minimizes this friction in a neat way, but mine takes it a step further with less complexity. My design is also variable displacement and can be made to be an internal combustion engine, which is unlikely in a vane type rotary engine.
