Kombucha is a fizzy, tangy, fermented tea beverage which aids gastrointestinal digestion, metabolism, and energizes the body. Aside from all that, it's just flippin' delicious! So let's get to making it!
Master Recipe (courtesy of reddit fam):
- Proportions -
Brew Jar Volume: 1 Gallon (4 Liters)
Tea 2-3 Tbsp loose, or 7-10 bags (15-20 Grams)
Water: 12 Cups (3 Liters)
Sugar: 1 Cup (225 Grams)
SCOBY Starter: 2 Cups (.5 Liter)
SCOBY Pellicle: 1 (optional)
Also:
Sanitizing solution (white distilled vinegar)
Cleaning solution
Bottles (for finished brews)
Coffee Filter/Covering Cloth
Main Steps:
1) Cleaning
2) Sanitizing
3) Brewing Tea
4) Dissolve Sugar/Cool Tea
5) Adding Kombucha Culture
6) Cover Brewing Vessel
7) Ferment!

9) Bottle/Store
