Welcome to Mythkiller Productions! As always I will be your host, SiriMythkiller, as we dive headfirst into the Echoes of Reality Cataclysm begun by Vara Brom! This event is so much fun and has excellent replay-ability!
At this point, I won’t bore you with the how-to’s. Several important things to know:
Faye’s commentary is often a few seconds behind what is actually happening which is VERY confusing initially.
Inversions are modifiers that make things more interesting and encourage players to mix up their builds. These make a HUGE difference in your damage output so make sure to take advantage of them!
Cymatic notes are the little balls of energy that are dropped by enemies or found in the world. Each note actually increases your score, whether or not it actually gives you stability so ALWAYS pick them up.
There’s TONS of secret stuff to do but make sure you look up how to do it or other players will get mad at you. Cough, cough, Siri, quit screwing stuff up!
After I ran through the Cataclysm the first time, I went back to talk to Harkon. Despite Vara’s demise, the Cataclysm still raged on. Harkon was just as fascinated as I was but he had a more logical approach than my hot-tempered Freelance; get back in there and do it again. And again. And again.
Each week, there will be a new event added and new high scores to reach. Again, I am VERY pleased with the replay-ability of this event and this game. After months of nothing new, I am so happy to sink a lot of time back into Anthem.
