This is the first of two videos about the Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto. We're of course also talking about his first wife Aino and his second wife Elissa, two women highly involved in the Aalto atelier. In the first video we're touch upon the early life of Aalto, his first commissions and not least the legendary Paimio Sanatorium.
