Chimera is a British science-fiction horror drama made by Anglia Television for ITV in 1991. It is based on the 1982 novel of the same name about genetic engineering by Stephen Gallagher.
Rare and hard to find, this was aired on TV once in its unedited form (AFAIK) over 4 episodes and shown again a few years later in an edited film of around 90mins. There was an official DVD release in 2010 but commands a fairly high price. I saw this on TV when it originally aired and it has always stuck with me. It makes me appreciate a time when we didn't have every little aspect of a film/show spoiled by social media and known months beforehand.
