The Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, Blavatnik Institute, Harvard Medical School, held a webinar series around COVID-19 and the implications of health and social medicine both in our community and globally. These webinar's explore the COVID-19 pandemic through social medicine lens and act accordingly.

In this webinar, Dr. Matt Bonds and Dr. Karen Finnegan speak about how the lack of data and informed models for low-income countries compound the unprecedented challenges experienced in high income countries. The Department of Global Health and Social Medicine is fortunate to have experts within our department who have long wrestled with the application of mathematical models to disease and economic dynamics. And who've paired such models with consequent global health implementation efforts.
