A member of the youth wing of the Shiv Sena has been caught on CCTV beating up a shopkeeper with a bamboo stick. Sunil Mahadik allegedly lost his cool after shopkeeper refused to give him 100 free vada pavs. Mahadik had sent a person to the Trupti Sweet and Farsan Mart on DJ Road where Geveriya works demanding that 100 vada pavs be delivered to him free of cost. When Geveriya informed him that they did not have enough vada pavs, the person left. The next day, Mahadik went to the shop where he argued with Geveriya beat him up with a bamboo stick and threatened to kill him.
