The Bubblegum 7 Pot is a relatively new superhot variety originally created in the UK by Jon Harper by crossing a red Moruga Scorpion with a Yellow 7 Pot. Of particular note with this pepper is the deep red of the flesh which "bleeds" into the calyx and the stem as the fruit ripens. This coloration also bleeds into the placental tissue on the inside of the pod. The flavor is extremely fruity and sweet with very mild floral undertones and no bitterness. Heat can be inconsistent - this was the hottest Bubblegum 7 Pot I've ever had. If you're interested in getting some of these, contact Tony Sherwood at his facebook group here:
