Hello ! Love you all ,
Hope you all are doing great , you may have watched in my previous vlog that I was looking for the house of my host after reading to the city centre in the old city of Baku , Azerbaijan. I ended my vlog while 2 Azerbaijan girls helped & called my host from their number .
This vlog starts from the same place while I was waiting for my host to recieve me from particular place where I was standing & waiting. After a moment my host arrives & took me to his house . After entering his house in old city of Baku , Azerbaijan I was quite amazed to see beautiful interior of his house with so many beautiful paintings inside & few small sculptures & artefacts .
You might be thinking how I came in touch with my host in Azerbaijan , so here’s an answer Mr. Yuriy from Almaty Kazakhstan who had hosted me in his house for couple of days , helped me & let me meet his friend Mr. Namiq from Baku , Azerbaijan. How far the connection went , amazing. Earlier I thought the place is home of Mr. Namiq where he brought me in but not it’s his beautiful Art Studio & he is a great Artist. Mr. Namiq also gave me & Yuriy , a quick tour of his Studio cum house . It’s his studio but also was not less then a home with all the necessities required in a home . On a first floor there comes two Art Classes rooms & one nice washroom .
Mr. Namiq also made good tea for me , after a moment his student arrives who also lives in Baku , Azerbaijan but little far from the city centre , her name is Zara came to discuss & take something for her current ongoing project . Mr. Namiq is a Master Artist , coordinator & mentor for giving work to his students. The projects which he took surpasses to his students and let it get done under his supervision. After a while another student arrives of Mr. Namiq .
So we are total 4 persons in the studio , girls also told me an amazing thing about Tea , we all had great fun . Students also shared their love for Indian Music , actors & arts . Azerbaijan being a part of ex Soviet Union had a great influence of Indian films , music & drama . Around 9:30 pm girls left from the studio , me & Mr. Namiq decided to go for dinner out in a restaurant.
In a restaurant host let me try main & important National dishes of Azerbaijan. One of famous dish is Piti of Azerbaijan which is made of Potatoes , vegetables, chickpeas & mutton. Another National dish is Dolma , basically there are many different kind of Dolma dishes in which different filling material or different covering material is used . This Dolma dish which we are eating is made up of minced mutton with the rice covered with the leaves of grapes. It was really very interesting to try both of the dishes .
After enjoying our meal we came back to Studio , Uncle ji arranged bed for me , transformed his couch in one of his studio room & Mr. Namiq left for his house . I was finally sleeping on bed straight after 3 days . It was great day .
