The World Meteorological Organization officially retired Hurricane Ian And Fiona from use due to their destruction. They will be replaced with Idris And Farrah When the list comes back around in 2028.
Ian adds to the growing list of I names that have been retired in the Atlantic Basin by the World Meteorological Organization.
