Estrella Solitaria was designed in 1849, 175 years ago.

▶ Estrella Solitaria contains a regular pentagram that consists of straight segments.
▶ Surprisingly, an algebraic curve that recalls the Lone Star Flag, can be created with a simple construction taken from differential geometry, by using a recent version of GeoGebra Discovery.
