An engaging storyteller from the Disability Network of Southwest Michigan will read an illustrated disability and self-advocacy children's book. After the story, participants will engage in a lively discussion on self-advocacy.
This program is for all school age children in grades K-4, but extremely beneficial to students with an IEP or 504 Plan. The program is sponsored by the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council, and is in partnership with The Arc Michigan, Alliance for Families, and Charting the LifeCourse.
